I'm a runner and a mother of two. I'm an aspiring marathoner and proud "Fat Girl". I'm here to break the stereotype that obese people cannot lead a healthy and active lifestyle. My name is derived from an epithete that a very ignorant person dubbed me: Fatty McButterPants. It's amazing the ammount of "fat hate" that is out there and most of it is derived from people who really believe that us fat girls sit on our asses and do nothing all day.
I found out in 2013 that I have thyroid cancer as well as Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (hypothyroidism). I have been in remission since October 2013 although the concern of tumors is ever present.
